This stretch of river showcases the raw beauty of this unique area of the state. The typical put in for this stretch is just downstream of the jaw-dropping Selway Falls, offering rafters an opportunity to view this magnificent rapid before starting their trip.
This stretch is perfect for renting kayaks and going solo, enjoying leisurely floats, and getting your head in the game before diving into the larger rapids that the nearby Lochsa River has to offer.
